Sony’s Spider-Man universe will continue with the release of Venom: The Last Dance. There may be added pressure for this film to succeed after Sony’s previous comic book films, but Juno Temple has a different way of looking at this.

In the film, Juno Temple play a new character, joining Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. He talked about the film in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter and asked if movies like Morbius and Madame Web had additional pressure on Venom: The Last Dance. Juno Temple explains how she is not too worried about the numbers at the box office, how she hopes that those watching the film will appreciate her performance, no matter their level.

“I can honestly say I’m not programmed to think about it,” and she also said, “It’s new for me to be a part of a film of this magnitude. I just hope I did my best in a film that was really an incredible thing to be involved in. I hope five people or 500 or more go for see it, I hope they enjoy it and it takes them out of their daily lives for a minute.”

This Will Be the Last Venom Movie

The film is directed by Kelly Marcel. The film will see Tom Hardy reprise the role for what could be the last time. Sony has confirmed that the film will be the last Venom film, so there are currently no plans to bring Tom Hardy back to lead another film. Maybe that will change if Venom: The Last Dance does better than Madame Web. Regardless, Juno Temple enjoyed the experience of working on the project.

She said in a previous interview with Variety, “It’s been a crazy, wonderful ride, It’s a first for me. It’s a huge setting! It’s crazy. It was so much fun and I got to work with amazing people. I’ve been so lucky in my career to have an amazing casts. I can’t wait to see I can’t go out into the world. I think it will be good.

She also said, on Tom Hardy’s casting, Tom Hardy’s relationship with how he feels about Venom and Eddie, is something that’s really close to his heart. It’s important to him. I don’t know if any other play Venom. It’s a couple from the series of shoes to follow with commitment.”
