The MonsterVerse returns with its fifth installment with the trailer of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. The film come after Legendary Pictures feature "Godzilla vs. Kong" (2021) directed by Adam Wingard. Who is return to direct this upcoming MonsterVerse movie. It is a sequel of Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Kong: Skull Island (2017). The MonsterVerse start with Godzilla (2014). There also have been two television entries in the franchise, the live action series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters released on Apple TV+ and the anime series Skull Island released on Netflix.

The trailer begins that we believed that life could exist on the surface on our earth. What else were we wrong about? A large hand wearing armor emerges from the ground and viewers are shown a glimpse of Kong approaching a small monkey. If describe about the new empire, Kong can't stop this on his own he need Godzilla and Godzilla is shown emerging from the water with pink spikes. The trailer ends with an epic battle where we see Godzilla and Kong come together for attacking the enemy. This time its come with a new empire where Godzilla and Kong team up to beat the new enemy. The latest entry follow up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an new cinematic adventure, pitting Kong and Godzilla against colossal undiscovered threat hidden within the world, challenging our very existence and their also.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire marks 38th film in Godzilla franchise, which began in Japan on 1954 with director Ishirō Honda's ‘‘Godzilla’’. Its also marks the 13th movie in King Kong franchise, which began with the RKO Radio Pictures 1933 original. Starring as Rebecca Hall, Kaylee Hottle and Brian Tyree Henry reprise their 2021 roles, Dan Stevens and Fala Chen are newcomers in the franchise. The film is written by Adam Wingard, Simon Barrett and Terry Rossio, with Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Brian Rogers, Mary Parent, Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod serving as producers. The creature film will release in theaters on April 12, 2024.
