DC Studios Confirmed David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan as Clark Kent and Lois Lane in ‘Superman: Legacy’

The DC Universe has officially found the new Superman. On June 27, 2023 DC Studios confirmed that David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan will play Clark Kent and Lois Lane character in ‘Superman: Legacy’, the new action film set to be written and directed by DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. David Corenswet choose to play the new Man of Steel and Rachel Brosnahan choose to play Lois Lane character, right set by DC Studios. On last month, David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan was reported for their respective roles in shortlist, with alongside Tom Brittney and Nicholas Hoult are also contenders for Superman character, and Phoebe Dyvenor and Emma Mackey as contenders for Lois Lane character. But David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan's casting news was confirmed by James Gunn in a tweet, "Accurate! (They are not only incredible actors but wonderful people also)."

As DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran and James Gunn revealed earlier this year, James Gunn says we are coming with a world, where superheroes existed for some time in a form and that's the Universe. "Gods and Monsters" will begin with Creatures and Commandos. It will include the HBO Max television in 2025 before ‘Superman: Legacy’ kicks off slate on 2025.

That's mean it's will change the whole DC Universe future. As in The Flash movie Barry Allen doing time travel for save his mother, after his time travel he go to the another Universe where Ben Affleck is not the Batman, in exchange Michael Keaton is the Batman in that Universe, and Clark Kent's cousin Kara the Supergirl, role played by Sasha Calle, there is no Superman in that Universe. In the end of the movie when Barry Allen re time travel and come back to his own Universe. He meet to the new Bruce Wayne and he shocked, that's not Ben Affleck a new guy is there. so we can expect to see a new Justice League.

In movie, the first Superman character played by Christopher Reeve in Superman (1978), and also Christopher Reeve played Superman character in Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987). In 2006 the second actor Brandon Routh played Superman character in Superman Returns. After that, in 2013 Henry Cavill played Superman character in Man of Steel, and become the most famous Superman of all time. After that, James Gunn says Henry Cavill will not return as Superman for the next time. They have big plan for DC multiverse and the whole DC Universe future will gonna change after Zack Snyder's Justice League. DC Studios find their new Superman actor David Corenswet. As David Corenswet says he want to play Superman character, this is his childhood dream and David Corenswet will play Superman character in ‘Superman: Legacy’ (2025) movie.
